OCR Scotland, in association with Entry Central, are proud to announce the launch of the first Obstacle Course Racing Scotland Awards Ceremony!
The evening will recognise outstanding achievement and contribution to the OCR community, but more importantly it's an excuse to PARTY.
Over the last few years OCR in Scotland has grown rapidly, all thanks to the passion and commitment of Race Directors, Marshals, Sponsors and most importantly Runners. We think that all this hard work deserves to be recognised. Within Scotland we have an ever growing number of different race organisers, many of whom are hosting multiple events. We also have some of the best athletes in the world! Joda Quigley breaking into the top 20 world rankings, Connor McGourt securing a top 20 result in the OCR World Championships on his first appearance, and not least of all Scott Brown putting in a spectacular performance at World's Toughest Mudder to finish top in Europe, and 5th overall.
The sport has also seen some very innovative thinking starting to come through, with Bing Blazer launching live GPS tracking of runners.All in all it has been a massive year for the sport in Scotland and we are keen to recognise everyone's hard efforts and encourage the continued growth.
OCR is more than just a sport, it is a community, and as a community we feel it is important to represent everyone's views and therefore have decided that many of the awards should be influenced by public vote - more details about this coming soon
ABOUT THE CEREMONY
The evening will begin at 7pm with an arrival drink in our private reception area, before we take our seats in the Roseberry Suite. Once seated, the ceremony will commence, with awards being presented between the courses. The ceremony will then be followed by an after party giving plenty of time to mingle until 1am!
Each of the round tables will seat up to twelve people. You can book as an individual, group or take a whole table.
Ticket prices are £55.00 per person.
